The following instructions are using the latest Apollo™ mobile app. If you are not using the latest version of the Apollo mobile app, please upgrade first.
There are instances in which your Apollo® wearable can suddenly experience connectivity issues with your mobile device. This can happen for several reasons - but this most commonly occurs after a firmware update for your Apollo, a software update for the Apollo Neuro app, or if your mobile device’s software or firmware are updated. Other settings and factors on your mobile device can impact connectivity as well.
If you’re suddenly having trouble connecting your Apollo wearable to your mobile device, the best way to restore connection is to follow our troubleshooting steps below.
Step 1: Factory reset your Apollo wearable
1. Press and hold both buttons on the wearable for 10 seconds. After 5 seconds, the light will turn yellow; after 10 seconds the light will turn red. When the light turns red, the reset is complete, and you can release both buttons.
2. Reopen the Apollo mobile app.
3. Tap the connection bar at the top of the home screen that says “Not Connected”.
4. Select “I factory reset my Apollo” and follow the instructions presented.
4. Tap “Connect’ at the bottom of the screen
5. Press the raised dot button once on the wearable to start the pairing process. The light should blink blue repeatedly. Accept any Bluetooth pairing/permission requests that may pop-up on your mobile device.
Does the app and wearable connect? If not, proceed to Step 2...
Step 2 - Force close the Apollo mobile app
1. Force close the Apollo mobile app ensuring it is not running in the background (see directions on how to Force Close here).
2. Reopen the Apollo mobile app.
3. Press the button with the raised dot one more time.
Does the app and wearable connect? If not, proceed to Step 3...
Step 3 (Nothing is working…still can’t connect to wearable)
1. Uninstall the Apollo Neuro mobile app.
2. Go to your mobile device’s App Store,

3. Factory reset the Apollo wearable again - see instructions above
