Import Taxes, Customs Duties, Value-Added Taxes (VAT), and/or Fees
When placing an order from overseas, it's important to understand that all international shipments are sent under the DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) terms. This means that customers are responsible for any customs fees or taxes that may be applicable at the time of delivery. These additional charges can vary based on the destination country and the total value of the goods being shipped.
For instance, some countries impose a value-added tax (VAT) on imported goods, while others may have specific customs fees that are determined by the nature of the items being imported. It is advisable for customers to familiarize themselves with their local customs regulations and potential fees to avoid unexpected costs when their order arrives.
