The Apollo Neuro system was designed with EMF in mind. Apollo Neuro can be worn in airplane mode, after setting up a schedule or selecting a Vibe™. You can select to turn on airplane mode in the Apollo Neuro app, which will disable the Apollo Neuro device’s antenna from communicating. The device must be connected to the charger to re-enable the Bluetooth connection.
When airplane mode is off and the app is actively in use, Apollo Neuro only emits very low levels of EMF as the mobile app and device are communicating via Bluetooth. Once you select an Apollo Neuro program and close the app, Bluetooth communication stops until you open the app again.
Apollo Neuro waves are sound waves (like music that you can feel and not hear). They are safe for kids, adults, and the elderly.
Are there any health risks from EMF by using Apollo Neuro?
BLE 5.0 is commonly used in wearable applications due to the low RF power output and battery use. The device has been tested to meet all RF exposure limits. With a limited power output of 1.9mW, the BLE module is significantly below any country-specific exposure limits for a body-worn device. This includes the US, Canada, and all EU countries.
Bluetooth Specifications
The BLE module within the device is a U-Blox ANNA-B112 module with the following reference identification:
- FCC ID: XPYANNAB1 (United States)
- IC: 8595A-ANNAB1 ( Canada)
- CCAI18LP2200T2 (Taiwan)
- 204-810005 (Japan)
"This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions;
- this device may not cause harmful interference, and
- this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation."
"This device complies with Industry Canada’s license-exempt RSSs. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
- This device may not cause interference; and
- This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device."
Essential Requirements
The Apollo Neuro device has been tested and complies with the following essential regulatory requirements:
- Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU
- Safety & health
- IEC 60950-1:2005 (2nd Edition) + A1:2009 + A2:2013 EN 62479:2010
- EN 50581:2012
This device complies with the FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. Having a separation distance of a minimum 5mm between the user and/or bystander and the antenna and /or radiating element ensures that the max output power of ANNA-B112 is below the SAR test exclusion limits presented in KDB 447498 D01v06.
EMC
- EN 301 489-1 V2.1.1 EN 301 489-17 V3.1.1
